Leaked service manuals and images currently doing the rounds suggest Sony is gearing up for an imminent launch of two new ebook readers.
The PRS-300 will apparently feature a smaller, 5″ screen than the current PRS-505 model (pictured) currently available in the UK.
It appears the reader will also boast 440MB of internal storage but lack a memory card slot.
A second model, the PRS-600, will retain the 6″ screen of the current model but introduce touchscreen controls and retains the MP3 playback of the 505.
The PRS-505 is currently being offered for less than £180 in the UK via both Waterstones and WH Smiths.
With no official word yet on the launch of these two new models it’s too early to predict the 505′s fate or future availability.
