		<description><![CDATA[For every 100 hardback books sold by Amazon.com over the past three months 143 Kindle eBooks have been sold, according to new figures released by the company today. The online retailer, which recently lowered the cost of its Kindle reader, says for the past month the figure increases to 180 digital books for every 100 hardbacks.

		<description><![CDATA[Electronic magazine seller Zinio has announced more details of its upcoming iPad app which it says will deliver "interactive iPad editions for top titles and access to thousands of magazines from around the world." 

In a mailing to customers, the firm has unveiled an iPad pre-launch page detailing features available in the app including the ability to buy both subscriptions &#038; single issues of titles as well as "optimized navigation, plus mosaic and TOC views."
