US book retailer Barnes & Noble have announced the launch of their new eBookstore aimed at users of almost every electronic platform including the iPhone, Windows and Mac laptops and desktops and BlackBerry smartphones.
In addition, the company has confirmed that it will be the exclusive eBookstore provider on the forthcoming and much anticipated Plastic Logic eReader device.
With more than 700,000 titles and more than a half-million public domain books from Google, which can be downloaded for free, the store is claimed to be the largest in the world.
